Instructions
Follow these steps to obtain a sample from the patient for testing purposes. Read the package insert for complete instructions on obtaining the sample and preparing it for the test.
STEP 1
Use a swab to collect a nasal sample from the patient.
STEP 2
Prepare the specimen in the extraction tube using the extraction buffer.
STEP 3
Add four drops of the previouslyprepared sample to thesample well. The results will be available in 15 minutes.
If the testing kit is used according to the included directions, one of three outcomes will occur::
POSITIVE: If there are two lines, referred to as the control line (C) and the test line (T), the COVID-19 test reads positive (even if one of the lines is not clear).
NEGATIVE: If just the control line (C) is present, then the COVID-19 test result is negative.
INVALID: The result is invalid if the test is completed and no control line (C) is present.

STORAGE: The storage temperature for the kit is room temperature. In addition, the temperature can be controlled to be anywhere between 2 and 30 degrees Celsius. The items are required to stay in their bags until utilised. The test cannot be kept in the freezer, nor can it be utilised after the expiration date printed on the sealed packet.
